Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Allie Reichert’s journey from basketball star to rising pickleball pro is fueled by fierce determination, natural athleticism, and an undeniable love for sport. A standout at Mason High School and later at Aurora University, Allie’s competitive fire burned brightly through 71 collegiate basketball starts, multiple academic honors —a badge of honor for her unfiltered passion and grit.
Her path to pickleball began during the pandemic, when she and her dad, Steve, picked up paddles for the first time. What started as backyard fun quickly became an obsession, and Allie’s athletic instincts translated seamlessly to the pickleball court. Her explosiveness, court vision, and mental toughness helped her rise quickly from local tournaments to competing with the nation’s best.
In 2025, Allie is a full-time competitor on the APP Tour, where she continues to carve out her reputation as one of the sport’s next greats. Among her accomplishments, she captured Silver in Women’s Doubles at the APP Great Lakes Open, a milestone that underscores her competitive drive and rapid ascent.
When she’s not traveling the country to compete, Allie is coaching at The Pickle Lodge, where her high-energy lessons, relentless focus on fundamentals, and approachable style make her a player-favorite coach. She enjoys working with players of all levels, but especially thrives in helping 4.0+ athletes push through plateaus, sharpen advanced techniques, and prepare for tournament-level play. Allie is a big believer in drilling with purpose, repetition, and tactical development to unlock breakthrough moments.
