Ellie’s pickleball journey began back in 2015, when her oldest brother first handed her a paddle. What started as a casual game quickly grew into a passion—and for the past five years, she’s been playing regularly, drawn in by the camaraderie and friendships that blossom on the court.
A PPR- and DUPR-certified instructor, Ellie brings both competitive experience and a warm, encouraging presence to every lesson. She’s medaled in several local and PPA tournaments and loves working with beginners and intermediate players who are eager to build confidence and consistency. Her favorite skills to teach? The backhand and smart movement to the non-volley zone—two areas she believes can transform a player’s game.
Ellie’s teaching style is practical and empowering. She focuses on real-world strategies and actionable tips that make players feel capable from day one. Her students know they’ll get honest feedback, clear explanations, and a supportive coach who celebrates every breakthrough, big or small.
For Ellie, pickleball is the perfect blend of fitness, fun, and flexibility—a sport that keeps her active and engaged at any age, anywhere in the country. Some of her favorite memories come from sharing the court with her daughter at Sawyer Point, proving that pickleball truly is a family game at heart.
