How The Giving Tree Works
Nestled in the cozy corner of The Lodge, you’ll find a beautifully adorned tree. But this is no ordinary Christmas tree. Each ornament hanging from its branches carries a special significance – the Christmas wish of a local child in need.
- Step 1: Choose an Ornament. Visit The Pickle Lodge and select an ornament from The Giving Tree. Each one has the details of a gift requested by a child from our community. These aren’t extravagant wishes, but simple tokens of joy that can make a world of difference to a child.
- Step 2: Purchase the Gift. Once you have chosen an ornament, your task is to go out and purchase that gift. It’s an opportunity to walk in the shoes of a child, imagining their delight as they open it on Christmas morning.
